Identity fraud victimizes organizations across such markets as bankcards, retail credit cards, wireless, retail banking and online consumer finance. Protecting consumers and better serving legitimate customers is important to these companies, which means they are always
thoughtfully balancing the customer experience against potential losses.
Identity fraud also afflicts the government sector, which is in need of solutions that will help ensure accurate verification of individuals
while protecting their right to privacy.
Michael Cook co-founded ID Analytics in March 2002 and currently is their Vice President. Cook has been in the credit industry for almost
two decades and has spent the last ten years in senior executive
positions at various companies. Previous to his role at ID Analytics,
Cook was Vice President of Business Development at Evoke Software, a
data profiling software company and founder of an information services
company focused on the reduction of fraud and credit risk over the
Internet.
